John Wolford is a 3 star QB out of Jacksonville.  Clemson is one of the schools showing some early interest in the Florida standout.

After watching his highlights were really impressed with his ability to make plays when on the run. He seems to have great pocket awareness and the ability to make all the throws.

John currently has three offers..

“UNC Charlotte offered today.  I also have offers from Mississippi State and Idaho.  I am also hearing from a number of other schools,” said Wolford.

When asked about his contact with Clemson John said, “Coach Scott is recruiting me for Clemson.  I have been getting lots of mail from them.”

What are his plans for the off season?

“I plan on going to ton’s of camps. Clemson’s camp, UNC, Duke. Just multiple camps,” replied Wolford.

How’s does he view the offense Clemson runs?

“Their  offense is ridiculous,” said Wolford.

John may not be as highly touted as some other QB’s around the country but we like what we see in his film.  His style of play reminds me a lot of former Clemson QB Kyle Parker. John is absolutely a player to keep an eye on going forward.
