Clemson verbal commitment Wayne Gallman, one of the top running backs in the South, is doing a diary with TheClemsonInsider.com. In this edition Wayne discusses his All-American experience, watching the LSU game from the Georgia Dome, his official visit and much more!
It was a good experience going to the Offense Defense All-American game. I got to meet a lot of new players. I hung out with Jayron (Kearse) and Mike (Williams).
I had a good week at running back. The coaches said I was the most productive back. I had seven carries for over 50 yards and two catches for 30 yards in the game.
I talked with coach Ellliott and he said he thought I played well.
I am real excited that Tajh is back. I am kind of close with Tajh. The fact that he is coming back will make it easier for me to learn the plays since he knows the offense so well. He will be able to give me more help and that will help me learn quicker.
I was there for the LSU game. I was in a suite with my girlfriend and two of my mom’s friends. I knew Clemson could do it. It was just all of the doubters. I was ready to see Clemson win.
I am coming up for my official this weekend. I will be coming with my mom.
I will be doing some recruiting this weekend. I really want Carl to come to Clemson. I also want to help get the two receivers, North and Clark.
It will be good to see Montravius. We are cool. I am pretty good friends with him.
I am perfectly fine with Robert. He made his decision and I understand his. But to get another player that is also competing for that No. 1 spot (Lawson) would be great. To get the next best thing.
