Rogers wants to get to Clemson tomorrow

Future Clemson defensive end Dane Rogers took his official visit to Clemson over the weekend.  TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with the prize recruit to see how he enjoyed the visit.

How did Dane enjoy the official visit to Clemson?

Rogers: It was great man. It just makes me want to be down here tomorrow. It was a great experience. I got to meet all my new brothers.

Who came with Dane on the visit?

Rogers: My family came with me. They enjoyed every minute of it. They treated them just like family. They got to meet Brian Dawkins for the first time which was cool.

What was the highlight of the visit?

Rogers: I was pretty much when we went to coach Swinney’s house. I had never been to one of those high dollar houses. That was great. It pushed you to meet your goals. That could be you in next four or five years if you work hard.

How did the visit rate on a scale of one to ten?

Rogers: I would give it a ten plus, a 20.

What did you do Saturday night with your player host?

Rogers: Carlos was my host. It was just like old times. It was like back when we was little. We played video games and hung out. It brought back a lot of memories.

Tell us about the conversations with the coaches?

Rogers: It was great. It was everything I wanted to hear and what they wanted to hear. Everybody is on same page. I am ready to come do what I can to help the team.

Do you hear about any commitments this weekend?

Rogers: I am hoping that Clemson is right for them. It is a great school. I fell in love with Clemson the first time I stepped on campus. Hopefully they will love it like I do. I left the recruiting up to the coaches.
