Chris Register and his family visited Clemson over the weekend for the Elite Junior Day.

“I came down with my dad, my mom and my brother.  It was really good,” said Register.

What did Chris  see that he hadn’t on his previous visit?

“I had been around the facilities before but I hadn’t really been around the campus. I got to see all of the campus and the dorms,” said Register.

How did Chris’ parents enjoy the visit to Tigertown?

“It was their first visit.  They really enjoyed it.  They liked Vickery Hall,” said Register.

Coach Venables made sure the prize recruit knew the Tigers wanted him at Clemson.

“Coach V said that he wants and needs me at Clemson.  He wanted me and the other two linebackers that were visiting,” said Register.

Chris can’t keep track of the offers any longer.

“I have so many I have lost count,” said Register.

When asked about his favorites, Register said, “I really don’t have any favorites but the three recruiting me the hardest are Carolina (North), State and Clemson”.

The commitment timing is not clear for the top linebacker.

“It is hard to say.  I will just make it when I feel I am ready,” said Register
