National Signing Day was a little different this year for Cordrea Tankersley. The top corner who originally signed with Clemson in 2012 once again signed with the Tigers after a semester at Hargrave Academy.
“I spent time with my family and enjoyed the process again. Then I watched signing day on tv to see who was next to join tiger town,” said Tankersley.
How did Cordrea feel about the Tiger’s 2013 class?
“I couldn’t ask for a better class. We have some pretty good athletes coming in and I am looking forward to it,” replied Tankersley.
Cordrea is back home preparing to take the ACT again and hopes to enroll at Clemson in just a few months.
“I am preparing for this upcoming test and praying for these days to blow by so I can enroll in May,” said Tankersley.
Today the 4-star defensive back takes the ACT again and hopes to improve his score so he can enroll at Clemson.
The Clemson staff spoke with the prize recruit earlier this week.
“I talked with the coaches this week. They just wanted to see how I was doing and wish me luck with this week’s test,” said Tankersley.
