Clemson one of leaders for 5-star Street

Kentavius Street, one of the top defensive ends in the nation, will be hitting the road again this weekend.

“I will be going to UNC next Saturday for my third Junior Day.  I have already been to East Carolina and Duke,” said Street.

The visit tour will continue over the next few months including a stop at Clemson.

“I am going to go to Virginia Tech, Clemson, Georgia Tech and Florida State.  I also may go to Georgia and Alabama,” said Street.

The 5-star defensive end has a top three that includes the Tigers.

“My top three are Florida State, then Clemson, then Virginia Tech,” said Street.

Florida State:  “I grew up cheering for them.  They have always been my childhood favorite.”

Clemson:  “It is a family atmosphere at Clemson.  They don’t just take care of you as a football player.”

Virginia Tech:  “They have a good mechanical engineering program and the football program is not bad either.”

Don’t expect an early commitment from the US Army All-American.

“I am going to announce on signing day,” said Street.

Both parents have some ideas where they would like to see Kentavius play.

“My mom really wants me to stay in state so I can be close.  My dad wants me at Florida State.  He has always been a fan,” said Street.
