TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with 2014 receiver Braxton Berrios.  Braxton just picked up an offer from the Tigers and visited Clemson last week.

“It was cool. This was actually my second time at Clemson. I was there for the South Carolina game last year. But this time I got to see all the campus, and the facilities. I got to meet the coaches, and watch practice,” said Berrios.

What did Braxton think of the Clemson staff?

“They were cool. I spent most of my time with coach Scott. I talked to Coach Swinney a little bit. Coach Caldwell is my recruiting coach,” replied Berrios.

What was the highlight of the visit?

“Getting to watch practice. I got to sit in on the wide receivers meeting. We watched film and talked about the depth chart.  Then I got to go out and watch practice. It was their first scrimmage. I liked how intense it got,” said Berrios.

Braxton has been receiving a lot of attention from most of the nations top programs. Along with the Clemson offer, Braxton says he has offers from, “All of the North Carolina schools, South Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia, Northwestern, Minnesota, V.T, and Maryland. Tennessee has been pushing hard, I think they will offer soon. I am going to visit Georgia this weekend. Oh, and Ohio state has been talking with me also.”

The prize recruit does not have a top five as of yet. He says he plans on making his decision next season.

“I am going to graduate early. So I want to make my decision sometime during next season, maybe week three or four,” said Berrios.

What are his plans for the off season?

“I am going to some camps. I don’t know which ones yet. I use to play basketball, and baseball. But I’m not anymore. I want to focus on football,” replied Berrios.
