TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with 4-star athlete Elijah Hood earlier this week.  Hood wasn’t ready to name a top five, but said four schools stand out right now.

“Notre Dame, North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Georgia,” said Hood.

One of those schools recently got a visit from Elijah.

“I went to Virginia Tech on the 19th,” said Hood.

Earlier this month Elijah showed his athletic ability at a combine in the Queen City.

“I went to the Nike camp in Charlotte,” said Hood.

The Charlotte Catholic standout plans to announce his decision in the next few months.

“I am going to make a decision later this summer,” said Hood.

The Tigers need to get Elijah back on campus to improve their standing.  Is a trip to Clemson in the plans?

“Maybe, I am not sure yet,” replied Hood.

Which schools are recruiting Hood the hardest right now?

“Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech and Georgia, said Hood.

What does the All-American like to do off the field?

“I like to eat, relax.  I play a lot of video games.  I like watching nature shows on National Geographic.  I also like to go camping,” replied Hood.
