TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with Florida defensive back Trumaine Washington this weekend.  The 5-9, 170 pound prospect attended Clemson’s Junior Day earlier this year.

“I went to Clemson’s Junior Day and I really liked it up there.  They invited me to their camp this summer.  I plan to go up for that,” said Washington.

Other than the Tigers, which schools are showing Trumaine the most attention?

“FIU, Connecticut, Louisville, Florida, FAU, Purdue and Central Florida,” replied Washington.

When asked about his current leaders, Washington responded, “I don’t really have a top five or anything right now”.

Trumaine has taken his talents to the track this spring.

“I’ve been training a lot.  I am also running track now,” said Washington.

Where does the top defensive back plan to camp this summer?

“I am going to Clemson camp.  I also plan to go to Florida State and Florida,” replied Washington.

A number of other visits are on tap.

“I will be visiting FIU for Junior Day.  Then I am going to Louisville, Florida Atlantic and Miami.  I have already been to Miami for a few practices,” said Washington.
