TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with sophomore sensation Freddie Phillips.  The talented receiver, who has visited Clemson many times, is hearing from several schools. 

“North Carolina State, UNC, Florida and South Carolina are recruiting me hard right now,” said Phillips. 

It has been a busy few weeks for Freddie. 

“I visited Florida last Friday.  Last weekend I went to NC State,” said Phillips.

A number of visits are in the plans. 

“I had to reschedule my visit to North Carolina but I am going to visit.  I am also going to visit Ohio State and South Carolina,” said Phillips.

Freddie is also making the rounds to visit some combines. 

“Last weekend I attended the Nike combine in Charlotte.  I also plan on going to the Rivals combine in Charlotte,” said Phillips.

As far as when he wants to make his decision, and where he is going to decide Freddie said he has no idea.

“I’m really open right now. I don’t know when yet. I want to see all the offers I’m going to get and then decide. I haven’t really thought about it yet,” said Phillips.
