Wideman Takes in Orange White Game

4-star defensive tackle Dexter Wideman visited Clemson along with his family Saturday to watch the Orange White game.

“Yes sir I came to Clemson on Saturday.  I came with my grandma, my aunt and my uncle.  We had a good time,” said Wideman.

The offense for the Tigers impressed the Saluda standout.

“It was pretty good.  They are going to have a good offense this year.  They are also going to have a pretty good defense,” said Wideman.

What did the Clemson staff tell the prize recruit during the visit?

“They told me they still really want me at Clemson.  I am still one of their favorites.  They told me to keep working hard and to stay on the books,” replied Wideman.

When asked about his current leaders, Wideman responded, “I don’t have any.  I am still weighing my options”.

Are the in-state schools still the favorites?

“No, all of them are on top,” replied Wideman.

Dexter hopes to visit a couple of schools in the Sunshine state soon.

“I am trying to get down to Florida and Florida State soon,” said Wideman.

Don’t expect an early decision from Dexter.

“I am going to announce on Signing Day,” said Wideman.
