Chris Register, one of the top linebackers in the South, visited NC State earlier this month.
“I went to NC State’s spring game. It was alright. I just went and checked out the game,” said Register.
Coaches are coming by Dudley High to check on the top linebacker. NC State visited this week and the Tigers are coming soon.
“Clemson is coming to see me this week,” said Register.
What is Chris hearing from the Clemson staff?
“They just tell me they want me. I talk with coach V all the time. I actually called him yesterday,” replied Register.
When asked about his current leaders, Register responded, “I don’t really have any. Clemson is very high. I will tell you that”.
The prize recruit would like to wait to make his final decision.
“I am trying to graduate early. If I get in an All American game I would like to do it then,” said Register.
This spring Chris is taking his skills to the track.
“I am doing the shot and the disc. I practice with the team to work on my speed,” said Register.
Does Chris plan to attend any summer camps?
“I don’t have any planned right now. I am going to the Shrine Bowl combine,” said Register.
