Wednesday morning Cordrea Tankersley got the good news he had been waiting for when he checked his test score on his latest ACT.
“Me and my dad found out just a few minutes ago. It feels so good to finally get this weight off me,” said Tankersley.
Cordrea will now enroll in just a few weeks.
“I am going to enroll on May 15 for the first session,” said Tankersley.
How does it feel to know he will be a Tiger?
“I’m tickled pink. It is just a blessing. We have been waiting on this for the longest time. I give all the credit to the man above,” said Tankersley.
Earlier this month the prize recruit visited the Orange White game not knowing if he would make the score or not.
“I wasn’t thinking about it. I went to the spring game with no regrets. I knew I gave it my all,” said Tankersley.
Cordrea hopes to make an impact this year for the Tigers.
“I want to compete on and off the field. I want to become warm with my academics and win a national championship,” said Tankersley.
