The 2013 baseball season is in the home stretch and Clemson is in contention to host an NCAA Regional. Each week we will take a look at where the Tigers stand in the push to host.
The path to the Super Regionals and much easier for the teams that are named a Regional Host. A number of factors are considered when selecting the teams to host including record, RPI, Strength of Schedule (SOS), facilities, bids and other factors.
With the Tiger’s 7-0 week their RPI is up to No. 12 and we have moved the to a likely host position.
