O’Daniel heading to Clemson to compete

The long wait for All-American Dorian O’Daniel is over.  Saturday he heads to Clemson to start his career as a Tiger.

“I am going down around 12.  My mom and dad are coming down with me,” said O’Daniel.

The 4-star linebacker can’t wait to get to Tigertown.

“I am anxious and excited.  I am ready for it,”  said O’Daniel.

Who will Dorian room with at  Clemson?

“I am rooming with Ebenezer, Ben Boulware and Adrian Baker,” said O’Daniel.

Dorian has already built a strong relationship with his future roommates.

“I have been tight with Ebenezer and Ben for quite some time now,” said O’Daniel.

How does Dorian’s family feel about his big move?

“I think they are ready.  It is just another chapter in my life,” replied  O’Daniel.

Earlier this week Dorian got the good news that he was cleared to enroll at Clemson.

“I just got cleared by the clearinghouse a few days ago.  I was a little anxious.  Not that is taken care of it is a big relief,” said O’Daniel.

What are Dorian’s goals for his first year at Clemson?

“I just want to compete.  My priority is to earn some playing time and make a name for myself,” replied O’Daniel.

What will it feel like to run down the Hill against Georgia?

“I can’t wait.  Even with a chunk of the Rock missing it won’t take away from the experience,” replied O’Daniel.
