The hits keep coming for the Clemson baseball staff as they received another big commitment Monday from 2015 shortstop Jalen Miller.
“I just made my decision last night. I called coach LeCroy today and let him know I was ready to be a Tiger. I just called him 20 minutes ago,” said Miller.
Jalen has been high on the Tigers for some time.
“Two of my former coaches were committed to Clemson. They went pro so they didn’t get to go. Ever since I went to camp I have been in love with Clemson,” said Miller.
How does it feel to have the decision behind you?
“Now I can just go out there and play baseball which is what I enjoy,” said Miller.
The 6-1, 185 pounder selected the Tigers over Miami, Tennessee, Georgia and Oklahoma State.
Miller, from Riverwood High in Georgia, is ranked the 75th best prospect in the nation.
