Kaila Burns-Heffner, a sophomore at Clemson University, is joining The Clemson Insider staff where she will help with writing and video productions this fall.
“We are pleased to have Kaila join the TCI staff. We look forward to having her share her passion for writing and for Clemson with the members here at TCI,” said Robert MacRae.
She is majoring in communication studies and aspires to one day be a sideline reporter.
At Clemson, Burns-Heffner is involved with Greek Life as a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority, and enjoys playing intramural soccer and basketball.
This summer, she interned with isportsweb.com as a correspondent for Clemson Football. She was a writer for the website with a focus on football. She also had the opportunity to guest speak on a fellow isportsweb correspondent’s radio show, Dual Threat Radio.
“I am very honored to have the opportunity to intern for The Clemson Insider and to be able to learn all that I possibly can learn about the business,” she said. “I’m excited to join the staff and get started with the internship. Go Tigers!”
