I keep getting asked, when will Deshaun Watson become the starting quarterback at Clemson? My answer, “I have no clue.”

Like Dabo Swinney and offensive coordinator Chad Morris have been saying, they have a starting quarterback, Cole Stoudt. Morris and Swinney were both very adamant about that following Saturday’s 73-7 win over South Carolina State.

“I think Cole is our starter without a doubt,” Morris said. “I’m proud with where we are with everything right now. I think the plan that Coach Swinney and I have talked about is put in place and I think we are right on schedule on where we need to be.”

And what exactly is that plan?
