Tigers have staying power with Bourdreaux

After spending two days in Clemson, there is no doubt about.

Junior offenisve lineman Parker Bourdreaux will “definitely” keep Clemson in the mix for the long haul.

The Moore Catholic (Orlando) prospect arrived to Tigertown with his father on Friday afternoon. They stuck around for Saturday’s win over UNC, then left for home on Sunday morning.

“It was awesome,” Bourdreaux told TheClemsonInsider on Sunday night. “It was the best visit I’ve been on. I really felt the family atmosphere up there. I got along with the coaching staff, the coaching staff is great.”

On Friday night, Bourdreaux spent an hour with Caldwell, touring the Clemson football facilities.

“He showed us around in the golf cart, the indoor facility, where the future football facility would be,” Bourdreaux said.

Dabo Swinney had his face time with Bourdreaux the next day.

“Saturday, I met all of the recruits and everything. Coach Dabo actually talked to me for about 30 minutes, about an hour and a half before the game,” Bourdreaux said. “He’s just a really great guy. He’s definitely one of the coolest and most genuine guys I’ve met so far.”

What was discussed during that conversation?

“We were just getting to know each other. They really want me in Clemson. It’s a great family atmosphere and it’s all about family over there…I got to meet his wife also.”

Up next, for Bourdreaux are visits to Penn State and Miami. He’ll travel to Penn State for the Ohio State game and Miami for the Florida State game.
