Leggett lands the third Kieboom

Jack Leggett picked up another 2016 commitment on Tuesday when Carter Kieboom pulled the trigger and made his pledge to Clemson.

Kieboom, the younger brother of Spencer and Trevor, who also played at Clemson, is a 6-2, 180-pound junior at Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia.

When the youngest of the Kieboom boys arrives to Clemson, he’ll play third base.

“Clemson feels like family. It’s an awesome school, very nice. It’s probably one of the nicest schools in the southeast and that’s where I wanted to play baseball,” he told TheClemsonInsider Tuesday evening.

“It is cool knowing that my brothers went to Clemson and I could ask them questions and stuff like that. Clemson, I mean, there’s not much else to say. It’s an awesome school.”

Clemson landed Kieboom over Georgia and Georgia Tech. According to Perfect Game, he’s ranked as the No. 175 player in the class of 2016.

“I’m someone who just plays 100 percent every single game, tries to be fun to watch,” Kieboom said. “I’m the guy who’s going to do the little things, whatever it takes on the field, to be a team player.”
