11:02 p.m.
Tigers survive and beat Wake Forest, 34-20.
10:40 p.m.
Gallman’s back-to-back 100-yard games is the first time Clemson has had back-to-back 100-yard runners since last year’s South Carolina and Ohio State games — McDowell and Boyd did it then.
6:36 p.m.
That should do it. Clemson takes a 14-point lead and takes a 34-20 lead with 6:36 to play. Gallman goes 30 yards for the TD. Gallman now has 106 yards on 19 carries. It’s his second straight 100-yard game.
10:24 p.m.
Scott is credited with a 68-yard touchdown reception. Tigers regain the lead 27-20 with 10:53 to play.
10:20 p.m.
The penalties allow Wake to tie the game at 20-20 with 11:08 to play.
10:17 p.m.
The officiating just goes from bad to worse. You have to be kidding me on that one.
10:14 p.m.
If that is targeting than I don’t really want to see what the real targeting is. That is a bad call and the replay officials got it wrong too.
10:06 p.m.
That is the end of the third quarter. Clemson is clinging to a 20-17 lead.
10:04 p.m.
That was a 73-yard punt by the Wake punter.
9:58 p.m.
Do you think Clemson just needs to stop running those option plays? Another fumble cost the Tigers a possible touchdown.
9:49 p.m.
That was the first miss of the year for Weaver. He was 10 for 10 before that 54-yard attempt.
9:43 p.m.
Vic Beasley is back in the game and he has his ring finger and his pinkie taped together on his left hand.
9:40 p.m.
Lakip makes a 39-yard field goal to give the Tigers the lead once again. The drive was 11 plays and covered 54 yards. Clemson leads 20-17 with 10:11 left to play in the third quarter.
9:10 p.m.
Vic Beasley injured his hand. He was not on the field for that last play.
9:09 p.m.
Wake got 30 yards on that last drive to tie the game and both came by way of penalty. The Tigers are not playing well tonight.
9:08 p.m.
Clemson and Wake Forest are tied 17-17 at the break. Wake makes a 50-yard field goal by Weaver as time expires.
8:59 p.m.
Scott catches a 4-yd touchdown pass from Stoudt to give the Tigers the lead 17-14 with 0:27 left in the first half. That came after Stoudt missed Leggett on the same play he missed Leggett in the FSU game.
8:58 p.m.
That was Janvion again. Not a good series for him.
8:57 p.m.
On Stoudt’s 16-yard scramble, Wake safety Ryan Janvion had his ankles broken. Who was running that ball on that play?
8:49 p.m.
This is the most points Clemson has allowed in the first half since the Georgia game.
8:47 p.m.
Anthony was holding him big time. Wake scores on a touchdown and takes a 14-10 lead with 4:31 left in the half. Another turnover comes back to bite the Tigers.
8:44 p.m.
By the way, why does a senior even try to catch that ball. That was not a smart play by Humphries. You have to let that go.
8:43 p.m.
Wake has minus 22 yards of offense so far in this second quarter.
8:41 p.m.
Clemson just gave Wake another gift. Wake has the ball at the Clemson 14.
8:36 p.m.
I really liked that play call. That might slow Wake Forest down a little bit with all the blitzes. Let’s see if the Clemson defense continues to play like it has the last two Wake possessions.
8:34 p.m.
That was a nice call and nice execution on the touchdown. Gallman 18 yards on the receiving touchdown. Clemson takes a 10-7 lead on the 18-yard touchdown pass from Stoudt to Gallman, 7:00 to play in the first half.
8:31 p.m.
The replay confirmed the punters knee hit the ground. Clemson has the ball at the Wake 23 yard line. Best play for Clemson all night.
8:31 p.m.
Shaq Lawson has been playing well tonight, he drew a flag just then. Clemson defense has played a little better since giving up that cheap touchdown earlier.
8:24 p.m.
Lakip hits a 28-yard field goal to cut the Wake lead to 7-3 with 8:49 to play in the second quarter. The drive was 8 plays and covered 60 yards.
8:21 p.m.
Tigers catch a break with that one. Wake let them get that back. First down Clemson.
8:18 p.m.
Norton is at center and Webster is at left guard.
8:14 p.m.
It looks like Ryan Norton is coming in at center for Clemson.

Wake Forest throwing out the trick plays. They are playing with a lot of emotion right now and Clemson isn’t.

Stoudt was starring down McCullough on that play.

Crawford is now in the game.

Wake Forest went into the locker room and is wearing gold helmets. Our they magical gold helmets?
7:19 p.m.
No. There is not even 10,000 people here right now.
7:11 p.m.
I found my way onto the field and watched Deshaun Watson throw the ball. He looked good to me. He is wearing gloves on both hands, but I don’t know if that has anything to do with the finger. His passes looked sharp and crisp. His long passes looked really good. I can’t see why he can’t play, but we will see.
6:32 p.m.
As for the uniforms tonight. Wake is in all black and Clemson is wearing white jersey and white pants with the traditional Orange helmet.
Clemson injury report
QB Deshaun Watson question

C Jay Gulliermo out
RB Tyshon Dye will play

6:12 p.m.
The weather channel says the wind were blowing 16 mph at West Northwest. But that report can’t be right because these flags have to be blowing at much higher speed that 16 mph.
6:10 p.m.
The question in the press box right now is how many punts will there be in the game. I set the over-and-under at 20 for both teams.
6:03 p.m.
We are sitting here in the press box getting ready for the Clemson at Wake Forest game. The wind is blowing pretty strong. The Flags are pretty stiff.
Clemson tight end Jordan Leggett is on the field and looks pretty good running around.
