The Clemson coaching staff got some great news Monday when 4-star defensive tackle Christian Wilkins announced that he plans to sign with the Tigers.

Wilkins, fresh off an outstanding performance at the Under Armour All-American game, selected Clemson over Penn State and Ohio State.  The offer list for the 6-4, 290 pound bruiser included Penn State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Boston College, Florida, Florida State, North Carolina, Maryland and several others.

The Connecticut standout is the 21st commitment for the Tiger’s top five 2015 class.
