Clemson had a great week as they got the brooms out and swept the Black Bears from Maine last week for a perfect week. TCI puts a wrap on last week and hands out the award winners for the Tigers.

TCI Hitter-of-the Week #4 Eli White
The sophomore infielder from Easley, SC went 7-for-14 (.500) in three games last week for Clemson. White had a double, four runs, four RBI, a sac bunt, and was 1-2 on stolen bases last weekend.

TCI Pitcher-of-the-Week #33 Matthew Crownover
The junior from Ringgold, GA earned his second straight TCI pitcher of the week award with his start on Friday. In 7.0 innings, Crownover allowed one run (unearned) on five hits (.192 OBA) with no walks and seven strikeouts to earn his first win of the season.

Clemson swept three games from Maine at Lake Olmstead Stadium in Augusta, GA last weekend. The Tigers outscored the Black Bears 25-7 and outhit Maine .322 (37 hits) to .183 (21 hits). On the weekend, Clemson had nine doubles, three triples, 17 walks, and two HBPs against 24 strikeouts while going 8-11 on stolen bases. The Tiger pitching staff finished the weekend with a 0.56 ERA, allowing seven runs (two earned) in 32.0 innings with two walks against 24 strikeouts. Clemson also fielded at a .956 clip, committing six errors in 136 chances.
