Ft. Washington-Upper Dublin sophomore Cameron Easton has scheduled a visit to Clemson in April for the Orange and White spring game.
It will be the first trip to Tigertown for the 6-foot, 170-pound athlete.
“I’m definitely looking forward to checking out the facility, checking out the team for the 2015 season,” Easton said.
“I know about the academics and how it’s a great school all-around. On the football, I want to learn more about Howard’s Rock. It’s going to be fun. I’m looking forward to it.”
Later this month, he’ll head to Penn State.
“I’ve been invited to different places, but Clemson was definitely number one on that list,” Easton said.
Clemson defensive ends coach Marion Hobby has been in contact with Easton, who’s being evaluated by the Tigers as a wide receiver.
“He just sold the program, talking about how I can play and get a great education at the same time, stuff like that,” Easton said. “He just wants me to come down for a visit.”
As a sophomore, Easton caught 32 passes for 430 yards with four touchdowns. He also had four interceptions.
