By Will Vandervort.
Throughout the week I do radio interviews talking about Clemson sports throughout the state of South Carolina and in Atlanta. Most of the time, my interviews are different as some shows ask more about the basketball program than the baseball program and vice versa.
Spoiler alert!
They all ask about football. No surprise there, right? But very seldom do they ask the same question.
Last week, they did.
“Do you feel like there is anything coming out of spring practice that concerns you?”
My answer was “Yes, the backup quarterback situation.”
By this point in spring practice I was thinking one of the two freshmen—Tucker Israel or Kelly Bryant—might start coming to the front of the line and challenging Nick Schuessler for that No. 2 spot. But instead, Schuessler still seems to be way out in front.
