Leggett: “I would do it again”

TCI caught up with Clemson head coach Jack Leggett after the Tiger’s 5-4 loss to Presbyterian.

Coach Leggett was asked about hitting Tyler Slaton, who was hitting .105 against lefties this season, with the bases loaded and one out in the ninth.

Leggett responded, “Slate is tough to double up.  He hits a lot of fly balls.  I have every bit of confidence in Tyler Slaton in that situation.  I would do the same thing again.”
