It’s another big day for the Clemson football team as it holds its 11th practice of the spring and its second stadium scrimmage this afternoon in Death Valley.
Last week’s scrimmage, to no one’s surprise, was basically owned by the defense but there were a couple of highlights for the offense, too.
Running back Wayne Gallman had a 20-yard touchdown run, while C.J. Fuller also had a couple of long runs and scored on one as well as he rushed for 53 yards to lead all backs. Tight end Jordan Leggett continued to show off his improvement with one touchdown catch, plus a 21-yard reception on another drive.
Wide receivers Artavis Scott and Mike Williams combined to catch eight passes, while quarterback Nick Schuessler was 11 of 18 for 100 yards and two scores.
