2017 OT sees second Clemson practice

Blake Vinson got his first in-person look at the Clemson football when the Tigers were in Orlando for the Russell Athletic Bowl.

The day after Christmas, Vinson watched practice. On Wednesday, he visited Clemson, saw the campus and took in another work-out.

“I had a great time. We got to see all the facilities and I got to talk all of the coaches and watch a little bit of practice. I really enjoyed it,” Vinson said during an interview with TheClemsonInsider.

The 6-foot-5, 275-pound offensive tackle from Trinity Catholic-Winter Garden got a more physical view of Clemson’s practice when he was on campus earlier this week.

“They definitely hit a lot more this practice. They were just getting ready for a game the last practice, so they weren’t really going that much contact,” Vinson said. “This practice started off with the Oklahoma Drill and it was a lot more physical.”

Along with Clemson, Vinson has also been to Florida State, Florida and UCF in 2015. He visited Tennessee on Thursday and is scheduled to be in Georgia on Saturday.
