The son of Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables, 2018 linebacker [autotag]Jake Venables[/autotag] picked up an offer from Clemson earlier this month during the Dabo Swinney Football Camp.

Venables started at outside linebacker last fall for Daniel and he’s already starting to make a name for himself on the recruiting circuit. On the heels of his strong showing at the Oklahoma camp, Clemson stepped up with an offer. Trips to N.C. State and Old Dominion followed.
