SUWANEE, Ga. – [autotag]Jordan Bruner[/autotag] will collect as many offers as possible before taking the next step towards a decision.
So far, [autotag]Clemson[/autotag], Georgia, UCF, Tulsa, Richmond and Yale are among the nine schools with offers out to the four-star power forward from Columbia’s Spring Valley High School.
“I don’t really have any main (favorites). I haven’t planned on cutting it down, probably until the end of July,” Bruner told TheClemsonInsider, at the adidas Uprising Gauntlet Finale.
As more head his way over the next few weeks, Bruner plans to keep a few factors in mind.
“I just want to go to a school where I can fit in and still get a good education and feel like they can help my game progress at the same time,” he said.
Clemson keeps in contact “pretty well” with Bruner. The last visit he to Tigertown — his fourth one — was during the basketball season.
“It’s nice. It’s real nice,” Bruner said. “They’ve got nice facilities and I heard they’re building a new one right now, so I can’t wait to see what that looks like.”
Assistant [autotag]Steve Smith[/autotag] serves as the point man in Bruner’s recruitment, but [autotag]Brad Brownell[/autotag] also plays a significant role.
“They just tell me to stay in contact. We talk about their program and how they think I can fit in and things like that,” Bruner said.
He added, “They think I can fit in real well. They compare me a couple of players they have and have had in the past. I see comparisons that they do bring up.”
According to Bruner, the Clemson staff likens him to two current players.
“They talk about the two they have right now (Jaron Blossomgame) and Dante Grantham,” he said.
