What did we learn from ACC Media Days?

For one, people really like Clemson. Despite replacing eight starters on defense, having four new starters on the offensive line and the question centered on Deshaun Watson’s health, the media that cover the conference overwhelming picked the Tigers to win the ACC.

That was something I wasn’t expecting. I’m not surprised Clemson was picked, but I was surprised they were picked so far ahead of second place Florida State.

The Tigers received 84 votes to win the ACC, and 101 first place votes to win he ACC’s Atlantic Division. That means 53 percent of the 158 media members who voted at Pinehurst the past three days believe the Tigers are the best team in the ACC, and 64 percent of them believe they are the class of the Atlantic Division.
