Here are some news and notes from day three of fall camp, as well as some observations. It was day in which the defense had its way with the offense.

*In field goal kicking today, Alex Spence went 1 for 2 with kicks of 34 yards. He later came back towards the end of practice and was good for 37 yards. At the end of practice, he missed badly from 46 yards at the right hash. He then went on to make the kick from 46 yards. Christian Grooms was 2 for 2 for 34 yards. Towards the end of practice, he missed from 37 yards at the left hash. He also missed from 36 yards at the right hash. Patrick Huegel was 1 for 2 from 34 yards. Then towards the end of practice he kicked one from 37 yards and it was good. Then he concluded practice by nailing a 46 harder from right hash. He could have went a few yards back.

*Zach Brooks was again MIA from contact drills.
