The Clemson Insider has confirmed with Tajh Boyd’s family that he has been released by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday morning. Boyd’s agent is currently working to line up other opportunities with other NFL teams.
Boyd was signed by the Steelers in May to come in and compete for the third job on the team with former Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones, who was drafted in the fourth round by the Steelers in the 2013 draft. But never got that opportunity.
