If Clemson comes to play, it will be tough to beat

With the Wofford game in the rearview mirror, and Appalachian State sitting squarely in front, where do you think No. 12 Clemson’s frame of mind is at? Is it one of contentment? Or has the desire to succeed at the highest level driving them towards greatness?

The Tigers did not look like a team that felt content in its opening-day victory over Wofford. Though they were clearly the better team going into the game, the Tigers seemed as if they were on a mission to prove it to anyone that was watching.

Clemson’s offense was sharp, scoring basically at will. Deshaun Watson and the first-team offense executed the game plan flawlessly, scoring touchdowns on all five possessions in the 49-10 victory. The first-team offense totaled 321 yards on 40 plays.
