2016 WR commitment Cornell Powell had six catches for 81 yards with two touchdowns. He also had 178 kickoff return yards and a touchdown.
2016 commitments Zerrick Cooper and Chandler Reeves faced off on Friday night. Reeves and Eagle’s Landing beat Jonesboro, 17-7, the Cardinals’ first loss of the season. Entering the game, Cooper was 47 for 71 with 551 yards passing and six touchdowns.
2016 LB commitment Jamie Skalski had 13 tackles, two sacks and four tackles for loss for Northgate-Newnan’s (Ga.) win over Woodland.
2016 LB commitment Tre Lamar had nine tackles and a tackle for loss.
2016 TE commitment J.C. Chalk had 11 catches for 84 yards in Argyle’s (Texas) first three games. The Eagles lost 46-36 at Celina on Friday, their first defeat of the season.

2017 LB commitment Baylon Spector had three tackles and returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown in Calhoun’s (Ga.) 54-0 win.
2017 WR target Shi Smith had 105 yards and a touchdown in front of co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott, during Union’s 35-28 loss at Greer.
2017 Wando WR OrTre Smith had 16 catches for 321 yards with two touchdowns in a 40-35 loss to Lexington.
2017 QB target Chase Brice completed 20 of 32 passes for 208 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions for Grayson-Loganville (Ga.).
2018 LB target Dax Hollifield (Shelby, N.C.) had 16 tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack.
