2016 commitments

TE J.C. Chalk caught four passes for 87 yards and a touchdown in Argyle’s 47-21 win over Graham.

QB Zerrick Cooper went 13-for-23 with 110 yards and a touchdown in Jonesboro’s Thursday night, senior day win over Eastside, 43-14.

RB Tavien Feaster had six catches for 120 yards with two touchdowns in Spartanburg’s 42-7 route of Greenwood. He also rushed 10 times for 38 yards. Entering the season, Feaster had 203 yards rushing with four touchdowns.

LB Jamie Skalski made six tackles and had six quarterback hurries in two quarters as Northgate rolled Morrow, 56-0.

WR Cornell Powell had eight catches for 230 yards and a touchdown.

WR T.J. Chase had a 16-yard touchdown catch in Plant City’s 49-6 win over Strawberry Crest.

2016/17 targets

WR Diondre Overton (Greensboro-Page, N.C.): 20-yard touchdown catch and a two-point conversion

QB Chase Brice (Loganville-Grayson, Ga.): 8-for-13 with 208 yards and 2 touchdowns

WR J.J. Robinson (Lakeland, Fla.): 3 catches for 70 yards and 2 touchdowns

CB Trajan Bandy (Miami-Columbus):3 tackles, 2 pass breakups

2018 targets

Highlights: Florence-Wilson DE Xavier Thomas: LINK

QB Dakereon Joyner (Fort Dorchester): 13-for-16 with 234 yards and 2 touchdowns; plus 41 yards rushing

LB Jake Venables (Daniel) had 9 tackles 2 tackles for loss and 1 pass breakup against West Oak. Against Westside last week, Venables had 11 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 1 pass breakup and 1 sack.

QB Ben Batson (Daniel) threw four touchdown passes against West Oak

LB Dax Hollifield (Shelby, N.C.): 9 tackles, 2 forced fumbles and 1 tackle for loss

QB Alex Meredith (T.L. Hanna): 14-for-23 with 186 yards; 6-yard touchdown run
