Clemson freshman Kelly Bryant says he is just trying to take advantage of the reps he is getting in practice as he and Nick Schuessler battle it out for second-team quarterback this week.
Bryant was listed as the co-No. 2 on the Tigers’ depth chart on Monday, and co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliott said Bryant will have an opportunity this week to win the No. 2 job.
On Tuesday, before Dabo Swinney’s weekly press conference, Bryant spoke to the media about his opportunity and his performance is last Saturday’s 58-0 win over Miami. Bryant scored on touchdowns of 59 and 10 yards.
