Commits react to 12-0

Just hours after Clemson finished the 2015 season with an undefeated record, TCI started to reach out to the Tigers’ commitments.

We asked one question:

Now that the season is over, what do you think of what Clemson’s done, getting to 12-0 and being the No. 1 team in the country?

“I think they have made a statement, not just in the ACC but in the country. They also are representing the ACC great. They have taken it one game at a time and that’s why they are 12-0. We’ve got to play better than we did yesterday, though, or or we will get beat in the future.”

– Baylon Spector

“I think it’s awesome. It shows that it is possible to win the right way and it’s very encouraging to know I am going to be part of a program like that.”

– J.C. Chalk

“I think it’s a good time to be a Tiger.”

– Xavier Kelly

“I think it’s a great achievement. I think the coaching staff has done an excellent job of coaching and keeping players focused and humble. With that being said, being No. 1 may or may not add pressure to the players, but I think we’re going to win it all.”

– Zerrick Cooper

“They proved why they are the No. 1 team in the country.”

– Sean Pollard

“It’s definitely awesome to see, but they have their work cut out for them for their next three games, but they’ll take care of business.”

– Noah DeHond

“It wasn’t predicted at the beginning of the season, but it’s great and Clemson has been working years to get where they are and finally got it.”

– Nyles Pinckney
