Simmons ACC Legend

Anthony Simmons was Clemson’s ACC Legend this year.  Simmons was just the second player in ACC History to be named AP All-American for three seasons.  He finished his career second in tackles in Clemson history with 486.  Anthony led the ACC in tackles in 1996 and 1997.

Peake Has ACC Championship Ring

Charone is the only player on the current team that played in the 2011 ACC Championship game when Clemson defeated Virginia Tech.  Peake played 13 snaps and had a 17 yard completion.

Clemson is 7-4 under coach Swinney in NFL stadiums.  The Tigers have won their last four.

Battle of Top Quarterbacks

Two of the nation’s top quarterbacks will face off Saturday night.  Deshaun Watson and Marquise Williams are both among the nation’s leaders passing and rushing.  Williams is fourth in the nation with 786 yards while Watson is sixth with 756.  Watson is ninth in the nation in passing efficiency while Williams is 16th.
