ATLANTA — Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson said prior to Thursday’s College Football Award Show that this season and the last week was all surreal to him.

Last week he was named ACC Player of the Year. On Saturday he took home ACC Championship MVP honors while leading the Tigers to an ACC Championship. On Monday he was named a finalist for the Heisman Trophy and on Tuesday he was named as as First-Team All-American.

Then on Thursday night, at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, he was awarded the Davey O’Brien Trophy as the nation’s best quarterback.
