Swinney glad to be back at practice

The last week has been a whirlwind of sorts for Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney. He went to New York for a coaches convention, hit the recruiting trail from there, returned to Clemson for a short time to visit with some very important recruits, and then returned to New York to be with Deshaun Watson at the Heisman Trophy Presentation on Saturday.

There is no more traveling, at least until he and the top ranked Tigers travel to Miami to play No. 4 Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl on Dec. 31 as part of the College Football Playoffs. Clemson will head to Miami on Dec. 26 to finish its preparations down there.

But on Monday, it was time to get back to work and no one was happier than Swinney.
