Blossomgame: ‘We will do whatever we have to do to win’

Clemson forward Jaron Blossomgame says the Tigers will do whatever it takes tonight to beat No. 25 South Carolina. The Tigers will host USC at 7 p.m. at the Bon Secours Wellness Center in Greenville.

The Gamecocks, who are looking to go 10-0 for the first time since the 1933-’34 season, wore down Clemson in Columbia last year as they dominated the second half. USC dominated the Tigers on the offensive glass, which is something they are still doing this year as the Gamecocks are averaging nine more offensive rebounds per game than their opponents.

“This year’s team is a lot different than last year’s team and our mentality is going to be a lot different going into this game,” Blossomgame said. “We did lose by a lot last year and there is still a bitter taste in our mouth, but we will do whatever we have to do to win this year without having to out physical them.”
