Clemson’s senior class became the winningest in history when they defeated Wake Forest to earn their 43 win.  Eric Mac Lain.  Eric is the only player to participate in all of the games  the last four seasons.

With an Orange Bowl win the Tigers will have a four game winning streak in bowl games.  The last time Clemson won four in a row was 1986-90.

Venables Knows Sooners Well

Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables knows the Sooners well.  He coaches for Oklahoma for 13 years from 1999-2011 before joining the Tigers.  In those 13 seasons the Sooners went to 13 bowl games and ten seasons with at least ten wins.
