The state of Georgia already has a handful of 2019 prospects that have shown up on the Clemson radar.
Among them is Loganville-Grayson outside linebacker Owen Pappoe, who registered over 90 tackles during his first-year of high school ball.
Clemson had him on campus in November for the Wake Forest game.
“It was great. That was my first time going to a game there as a recruit. I think they have a nice coaching staff and it’s a great atmosphere,” Pappoe said.
Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Auburn also had him on campus for games this fall.
Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan and Ohio State are among the many schools that have already offered. Clemson hasn’t pulled the trigger yet.
“It’s exciting for me right now. I’m taking it slow, looking at all schools and just enjoying it right now,” Pappoe said.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect is in no hurry to make a decision.
“Because it’s so early right now, stay open to everybody. Don’t rush into anything,” he said.
