GREENVILLE — Clemson forward Jaron Blossomgame scored a team-high 22 points, while Avery Holmes added 13 points in the Tigers’ 73-60 victory over Pitt on Wednesday at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville.
Blossomgame’s 22 points marked the third straight game in which he had scored at least 20 points. Clemson’s leading scorer was 7 of 11 from the field (2-for-4 from three-point rang) and 6 of 9 from the foul line. He also tallied six rebounds, two assists, a blocked shot and a steal.
Holmes added two assists to his 13 points as the Tigers’ point guard also had two steals on defense. Guard Jordan Roper also dropped in 13 points on 4 of 9 shooting (2-for-4 from three), while center Landry Nnoko dropped in 12 points and had eight rebounds.
Sidy Djitte had nine rebounds in the victory.
