A day after Amari Rodgers wrapped up another visit to Clemson, the four-star wide receiver announced his commitment plans.
Rodgers was committed to Southern Cal when Clemson made an offer back in December. A few days after Jeff Scott stopped by Knoxville Catholic with the offer, Rodgers announced that he decommitted from the Trojans.
This weekend’s trip began on Friday and finished on Saturday once the Junior Day gathering was over.
On Sunday night, Rodgers tweeted:
I will be officially doing a bleacher report commitment with in the next month and a half‼️🔥 #ItsLit

TheClemsonInsider spoke with Rodgers (5-9, 195) a few minutes later about Junior Day.
“It was a great visit,” he said. “We just toured the campus. They told us some facts about it, then we went to the stadium and tried on the jerseys and stuff like that. It was pretty awesome, all-around.”
Rodgers spent a lot of time with two of the other wide receivers Clemson had on campus.
“You know Tee (Higgins), he’s from around this area, so I already knew him. I was him for most of the time,” Rodgers said. “Then, J.J. Robinson, I met him, because it was me and him that got there Friday. I hung out with him Friday. Me, Tee and J.J. were hanging out on the visit, most of the time.”
What was the message from Clemson’s coaches?
“Just that they would love to have me. Just talking to me about the academics and how they would use me and stuff like that. Just the regular recruiting conversations that people have.”
As for where things stand with Rodgers’ list of favorites, he told TCI there’s is no leader.
“Right now, everybody is pretty even,” he said. “I’m still trying to figure out what it is…everybody is still even right now.”
