Just moments after Clemson added another commitment to the 2016 class, the Tigers picked up a commitment from a preferred walk-on wide receiver.

Lexington’s Jayson Hopper tweeted on Tuesday night that he would accept Clemson’s invitation to join the team as a walk-on.

Appalachian State, Gardner-Webb and PC were among the schools that also had offers out to the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Shrine Bowl participant.

As a senior, Hopper caught 76 passes for 836 yards and 10 touchdowns.
