Clemson scooped up its third Signing Day announcement on Wednesday afternoon when four-star offensive lineman John Simpson made his announcement at Fort Dorchester High School.

Ranked by 247 as the No. 3 offensive guard in the class of 2016, Simpson is the fourth addition to the Tigers’ offensive line haul, which includes four-star Sean Pollard, three-star Tremayne Anchrum Jr. and three-star Chandler Reeves.

Florida was also listed as a finalist. LSU, Alabama and South Carolina also received consideration from Simpson.
