As the Clemson football takes to the field for the sixth time this spring on Wednesday, Ben Boulware does it as the unquestioned leader at linebacker.
Boulware is the lone senior, and though he has always looked at himself as a leader, he knows he has to take it even a step further this coming season as he mentors sophomores Kendall Joseph and Jalen Williams as well as freshmen Tre Lamar and Shaq Smith.
In 2015, Boulware earned All-ACC honors after he finished second on the team with 138 tackles, which included eight tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. He had two interceptions and broke up seven passes.
