T.L. Hanna sophomore defensive lineman Stephon Wynn Jr. has been to his fair share of games at Clemson. Last Saturday, he was back on campus for the Orange and White spring game.
The four-star prospect, who was offered by the Tigers in March, recently spoke with TheClemsonInsider about his trip over to Tigertown.
How was it?
“It was good. I really enjoyed it. It was good seeing some of the people that played with my dad when he came through Clemson. It was fan. I really enjoyed it,”
Did your dad’s former teammates recruit you and try to tell you to follow in his footsteps?
“They ask me stuff like that, but they really want me to make the best decision for me,”
Did you get a chance to speak with any of the coaches?
“I really didn’t get a chance to speak to a lot of coaches. They were busy with the game, but the ones I did speak to me, they told me to just keep working. They’d love to see me back up there. And they’re going to come and watch me during our spring practice.”
What did you think of the crowd?
“I thought it was amazing to see that many people for a spring game. Most schools don’t have that many people for a game.”
What did you see on the field? Did anything stand out to you, watching the game? Anybody really jump out at you?
“Deshaun (Watson) definitely had a great game. I think Austin Bryant on the d-line had a pretty good game, too.”
Do you have any other visits coming?
“I’m thinking about going to Carolina on the 30th, but other than that, I don’t have anything planned right now.”
